SDK 54.16 versus codebench

After much hesitation I have installed the latest SDK. But now Codebench starts overwriting and deleting sourcecode files. Ie, my device init.c become suddenly the makefile and my actual init.c is deleted from disk.

Also compiler flags like -mcrt=clib2 don't work anymore.

Any ideas what is going on? Behaviour looks like a virus.

I remember occasionally encountering that years ago. Unfortunately, I could never figure out how to trigger it, and so couldn't submit a proper bug report. My suspicion was that something went wrong when switching between tabs.

CodeBench is my main development tool. Never encountered the issue before. After installing the new SDK, it was triggered twice already.

But could be a coincidence. Fiddling with those cache instructions caused a lot of DSI exceptions in the process

But how can the SDK be responsible for something like that? The way Codebench manipulates the files, I guess, is a matter of it only. Unless it relies on a specific binary which changed its behaviour.

About using the clib2, what problems do you get with that? On my tests that works the same as it used to work.
