About the game videos, they are in .MVE format, I have converted to M4V file on Windows. However these videos are compressed in dat files. Maybe I can try to replace each video call with an external video player.

What is the best code for playing external video inside a SDL2 port ?

Can you share it here on share it via e-mail ?

Thanks.

I had this issue as well on my X5000 with RX550. However, it was connected to my capture card. Once I plugged it directly to the monitor it worked.

Maybe it tries to open on an unsupported screenmode? (when it comes to my capture card, certain software doesn't run properly because the capture card does not support all modes that the monitor does).

What you can try to do is to edit the file called: F2_res.ini

Find these lines:

; Set the Fullscreen resolution here.
SCR_WIDTH=800
SCR_HEIGHT=600

And type in a a width and height you know your monitor supports. If that doesn't work, try the res above but find this line:

; Set WINDOWED=1 to enable windowed mode.
WINDOWED=1

and make sure you set WINDOWED=1 which should open the game in a window on your Workbench.

Hope this helps!
