resize and move window from anywhere

See User information
Hi all,

There was "autobordersize" once. it no longer works properly here (move pointer is always active (unles one of some qualifiers is pressed)
I disabled MOVEWINDOW tooltype to use at least the resize from any borde, but I would like to move from anywhere as well...
Any ideas?

TIA,
Jack

Hi Jack,

OMG!!! Since WHEN has THAT been available!!!! (AOS# ver.?)

There are SO MANY hidden features in AOS!!!! (Well, for me, anyway.)

I LOVE this OS*!!!!

The ONLY genuine tinkering OS left on the planet!

(Because it's NOT mp/password(crap) and IS open. If it had passwords, I'd probably be locked out within weeks. I can't find my (*AHEM*, cough, choke) xp registration key.)

Oh wait, it moves the window from ANYWHERE on the window that I press the mouse button and put the pointer on.... So, you said something about resizing, can that be done from any border side??

Is there a possibility to resize windows only with the mouse?

Interesting reading, 10x. Moving/resizing-wise it's like TetiSoft's post #3. Actually it covers the resize/move stuff, but autobordersize adds pointer change when resizing without need for qualifiers.

Autobordersize. Disble MOVEWINDOW tooltype. Afair, it's from (contribs of) previous OS4 cd's (it isn't on os4depot, at least I couldn't find it so I copied it from my prerelease3's WBStartup).

4.0

It may have been in the original pre-release, if not it was certainly in Update 1.

It's incredibly useful when trying to get to windows that are hidden under other windows - often a bit better than shift-clicking the back gadget.

Hmm, talking of shift-clicking, I bet you missed the shift-clicking the zoom gadget feature as well?
