Enhancer 2.2 Freezes X5K during installation

The PicassoIV.resource fails are irrelevant. Levellord's Snoopy log has a lot more failures listed. I can see that he uses the "ak" datatypes instead of the standard ones. No idea if that makes a difference, though.

Based on the suspicion that it's multiviewer that's crashing, you could try comment out every line in the script that opens multiviewer. Lines starting with a semicolon (;) are treated as a comment. You can look through for ".iff", or "multiviewer".

Did you try that script I sent last week? It does what Hans suggested above.

I have not. I wanted to make sure I give AmigaKit ample time to offer their fix, if any, before I do other things.

If I don't get anywhere with that, my plan is to try your script and if that does not work, gonna do a new fresh HDD with new OS and right to Enhancer 2.

So I have a gameplan, just will take time is all between work and play.

Right. Just for the record, it's Matthew's script with some commented out stuff.

But I am sure he would be interested in the cause of the issue for the future.

The installer has a logging option that may help. But it may freeze before it saves it. However being able to log it to a console window would show what it's doing if possible.
