AirScan & AmigaOne X5000 - scanning software

Can a Next Gen Amiga, say an AmigeOne X5000, scan documents from a modern All-In-One Printer-Scanner-Copier?

YES... in my case at least, and probably many more if they explore AirScan.

Works here also, on X5000. Nice piece of software. Looking forward to airprint's development for easier, more consistent printing.

Back in August of 2019, I was finally able to get printing working from my MicroA1 to our HP OfficeJet 4560 printer,
- using HP Photosmart - HP PCL3GUI printer driver from OS4Depot
- using NetPrinter v 1.15 from aminet.

I was able to print from Final Writer 97 and NotePad.

However, a few days ago, I tried printing and no go.

Today I installed Airscan and it found the printer just fine and I was able to scan a document and print (from NotePad) to the IP address discovered by Airscan.

Not sure why netprinter can't find the printer if I use the hostname for the printer (used to work just fine).

Yeh I reckon once AirPrint is ready, we will have many happy people here.

That is the one I need, to print.

I'm looking forward to AirPrint as well as TLS support for AirScan. At the moment I cannot use my AirPrint-enabled HP multi-function printer because it is only available over secure connections. Once TLS is supported -- maybe through AmiSSL? -- I'll be scanning on my A1222 and X5000 like a boss.

aaahaaa! That's probably why it's not working for me either...impatiently waiting for that to be fixed and it looks like that will be a great piece of kit.
