The buttons in the GUI is offset by -1, same as the last GUI.

GUI button 0 = Amiga Input button 1
GUI button 1 = Amiga Input button 2

But that for joypads/joysticks, i don't use Amiganput/joypads most of time.. i need to set my own keys for keyboard instead. In warpsnes i simple click in gui's gadgets for buttons and set one i need, with Huno's one can't..

With Huno's one there some prebuild keyboard keys are used for keyboard, but i want to change them to be my own ones like in WarpSnes.

Thanks !

Video hack works fine, i can use 1920x1080 fine with compositing, yeah !

But found some strange moment : if i set to show FPS, and then DISABLE vsync on snesx9x, then it still always show 60 fps, no more no less, like VSYNC is still enabled.

Did i understand right, that with current version of the configs/gui i can't set my own keys to the keyboard for buttons and only prebuild ones can be used ?

Thank you very much for your great work on snes9x.
Of course I tried it straight away and it works so far.
However, I often have a scratchy sound in some games and then have to keep resetting the sound options. Unfortunately, the default sound option always produces a scratchy sound.
The GrimReaper also reports when I end a game. I can ignore the error and then exit, but then the iconified icon remains on the workbench.
The same happens when I close games that I started without a GUI using only the emulator itself
finish there is a GrimReaper.
I saved a crash log, maybe it will help, thank you very much.

I tried out your new version, first of all, thank you very much For the first time I can use your native GUI. Before, I always had problems as described above in the thread, Rom's SFC/SMC/ZIP work perfectly, which makes it really very pleasant to use.

I had to play around with the settings to find the perfect solution for myself. Once I found the right settings it worked really well. The roms run at an average of 25-30 FPS in windowed/full screen (software rendering) on my machine. It's a good gaming experience and fun.

I also noticed that full screen output works better than windowed mode, I'm not sure why. In my opinion it should normally run a little better in the window than in the full screen.

As @kas1e has already criticized, you cannot freely configure the keyboard keys, I would like something like that in the future if it is possible.

Sound:

I also noticed that the sound stutters/scratches a bit in some games, I'm not sure if they can improve that. I'll leave you a video/screenshot so that you can perhaps judge for yourself.

Otherwise, for me this is the best version they provide us Thank you again. Donation of 15 euros is on the way.

Thank you very much for your donation

For render software is recommanded 640x480 in full screen, on windows mode the full screen buffer as refresh (workbench + snes9x) it’s normal for slow render.

For the sound it’s normal, you have 100% of cpu and the render corrupt the transfert buffer audio

I am happy for you

McFly has also reported scratchy, stuttering audio output on an x5000, as if it's not just my problem alone

@McFly

I had exactly the same problems with version r7, of course we can't compare software rendering and 3D acceleration, but there is a connection. See post:

https://www.amigans.net/modules/newbb/ ... id=145479#forumpost145479

With the new version R8 it now works for the first time ever and I am very grateful for that

indeed yes there are some small crackles from time to time (which I will try to resolve of course).
As for comparing the 54 with this new version, there have been so many developments in terms of rendering and sound that it requires a little more CPU calculation.
Sometimes the developments are not all in the right direction, the sound part is enormously modified and the dsp is more complete than the first version
