Sil 0680 and Idetool

Just can't stay away

I have a problem with sil0680 card and idetool..

If i open a shell and write

idetool -l sii0680.device

i have an error message : "error opening device"

Even if i write idetool -l sii0680.device 0

how can i determinate the best PIO MODE and UDMA for my hd if i cannot open the device ?

And why i get this error message ?

Have a look in SYS:Kickstart, the device is called sii0680ide.device. Also have a look at Documentation/c/IDETool.doc
