Just the one on os4depot from December so whatever that was. I’ll check again tomorrow but I think I already set OpenGL as the renderer. I mean for a point and click game 25-30 would be more than enough. And honestly I can play it on my Mac, I was just curious if I was missing something.
I'll try and do this tomorrow night - I need to remember how to take screenshots and upload them on the X5000 and they'll be windowed too which I would assume will impact performance?
What I did do this evening is get the certificate bundle sorted and download both the icon pack and the shaders. I then got Simon The Sorcerer (AGA) running since I obviously know that one will work. It seemed to work fine using TV 2x shader with OpenGL, although the mouse was often just a corrupt square. So that confirms the system is generally working. There was no option to display FPS for that game.
Strangeland remains a slideshow at 4 or 5fps. Assuming all my graphics drivers and everything are installed correctly, I'm not really sure what else there is. But I'll try and get some screenshots up.
I don't know why we are discussing this topic again with Strangland, as I have already tested it. I think even with 3D support we won't see more than 10-15 FPS, the requirements of this game are just too high.
with -flto i can't link at all and I have to remove it Now i'm compiling all plugins and there are something to change (just few things) but they doesn't seems related to CLIB, just some problems in plugins
Everything is compiled except 3 engines since I have to compile some libraries first. I was trying to load strangeland to test the game but scummvm says it isn't compatible and to report the game. Now i'm trying to test some other games
Just tried: Gabriel Knight the beast within and it plays smooth (also the video) Riven 2 and plays smooth
If you tell me which games I could try it is better

You could test "The Longest Journey" some users have reported that there are problems with the display of the intros with ScummVM 2.8.0 on a X5000 and SDL2 OpenGL/OpenGLes.
With SDL Prefs software it works fine on my Pegasos2 virtual machine, all intros are played correctly.
If you have compiled the engines yourself and they are not used statically, could this mean that ScummVM might be slightly faster at running games?

The problem is that I don't have these games.. I've tried Gemini Rue and with rain i get 20/40fps, in the other parts 40/40fps Let me find the other games

I get similar values with ScummVM 2.8.0 (os4Depot) and Gemini Rue in the title picture where the rain is it is 10/40 FPS in the game about 35-38/40 FPS it fluctuates a bit.

Almost fixed 30fps on Sam460 and however never less than 27-28 only on location transition the fps are around 15
However i've noticed that there is an error on shutdown. failed assertion "bd != nullptr && "No renderer backend to shutdown, or already shutdown?"" on backends/imgui/backends/imgui_impl_opengl3_scummv.cpp:378
Edit2: yes.. the version on os4depot is really slow.. also on Sam460. But are you sure it is working OpenGL? I've used OpenGL in graphics setup just to be sure but no difference.. it is really slow
