I bought a Sam460LE plus an ATI Radeon RX550 from Acube recently, and they put the newest version of Uboot 2015.c in the AmigaOS SD card, which is quite nice.
But when I boot the machine, the boot screen seems to stuck at "Launching done, now launching kickstart." Anyone knows what cause the problem?
My other hardwares are: 2GB DDR2 bought from Acube Silicon Image 3114 controller and a SATA 512GB Seagate SSD Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX
uboot is in the board not in the SD Card, anyway the board recognizes the video card but for use it with AmigaOS4 you need to buy the driver from aeon. there is also a guide in our shop.
I bought ATI Radeon RX550 and Uboot bundle, U-Boot shell says my U-Boot version is U-Boot 2015.c (May 16 2024 - 18:47:52), does this mean my board have the newest version of Uboot?
@cvr416 If you see uboot on the screen with RadeonRX card, it mean that you have latest UBOOT, all fine in this regards then. But to have RadeonRX to work in amigaos4, you need drivers from AEON as henryout says.
Is it known if you have or not preinstalled RadeonRX drivers in your setup ? If yes, issue is somewhere else, if not, then you need to get RadeonRX drivers from aeon , and then somehow add it to the non-bootable system.
Best way is to have RadeonHD card first (os4 do have by default lite version of RadeonHD driver without needs to buy anything, you can boot at least). Then you get RadeonRX drivers, install then, and after that swap RadeonHD with RadeonRX.
@cvr416 Amistore client is known to acts strange and bad depends on the moon, as well as it have some bugs there and there, so it's kind of luck to buy something via.
Instead, you can use some java reimplementation done by one of users, so you can buy things from any OS, without needs to run amistore. OF course its not full flegged client, but to buy things it's should be ok, there is:
