@chris Have the same issue -"Error occured fetching page" with latest build 6756 on OS 3.2.2.1 AMISSL 5.16, TCP Stack RoadShow v1.15 bsdsocket.library 68020+ v4.364. Been a very long time since I tried NetSurf on my OS3 set up. Great to see you're still developing it. Weed P.S. installed build 6505. It works no connection issues (has other issues though - graphics corruption)

@walkero Does the old build pointed to work? It could be that the change I made isn't in the CI builds.

@Chris Thanks for posting the URL to the new build of NetSurf! I installed it into a new directory and fired it up. Unfortunately it's still asking for the GuiGfx.library. None is installed. After OK'ing to that, the NetSurf window came up. But like as others reported, attempts to load pages off the internet all resulted in "Error occurred fetching page" - but then everything I tried redirects to HTTPS links. I did try a local webpage generated by YT.rexx (that's obviously NOT https) and that loaded fine, but without the thumbnail image (probably a goggles HTTPS link). I hope all this helps you chase down the GuiGfx & https bugs! Thanks again!! PJS

@walkero Latest beta version #6756 works perfectly! I am just wring these lines using it. Are you also using your X5000? Have you only copied the beta version or also installed it?

@pjs Perhaps its loading from the wrong path, try list appdir: and delete soft link there.

It looks like the toolchains were last built 8 months ago, so that would explain why the CI builds aren't working. @Tumbleweed On OS3 the usual problem is the wrong version of AmiSSL installed, but as the old one worked I will double-check here what's going on.

It's the same with netsurf for amicygnix. Thought that it could be worth mentioning. It won't connect to any site.

@LiveForIt heh I ran it from the Workbench, in the directory with the new build, double-cicking on the Netsurf icon. No APPDIR: muss or fuss involved. All in all, as a decades long betatester, I rarely rely on APPDIR: for my app paths. I want to know exactly what I was running and from where! Thanks, PJS

Does the old build pointed to work? It could be that the change I made isn't in the CI builds. I never had access to that build. If I understand that correctly, based on what MickJT wrote at
https://www.amigans.net/modules/newbb/ ... id=150115#forumpost150115 , this was a release exchanged through emails. But this is an assumption, and I might be wrong.

I did a full installation in a new folder. And for me doesn't fetch any websites. My system is a beta one. The thing is that the older 3.10 on the same system works great.

@Thread
I have had no problem so far.
I've just updated Netsurf with latest build and it's working without any problem.

@walkero Cool, looks like it's just because the build system hasn't been rebuilt then!

@Chris I do not want to put a downer on the progress so far with this thread. It seem for other people the browser seem to be ok. But for unknown reason for me however. When I try the latest Netsurf 3.12 (dev) build. I am getting the pop up guigfx.library to display images in this mode. And then it started to install / check the fonts. And upon the start of the Netsurf home links main page. All the links on that page, slashdot, rool, ars, etc. Just keep saying Error Fetching Page. If you need logs and dumps, I am happy to provide them to you if required. You will need to show me how to gather those log / dumps for you. Thank you.

@Boabster It's strange, but I have exactly the same problems and I don't know why. iBrowse, Odyssey work very well....Netsurf 3.6 which is a bit older also works very well, but like you I have problems with version 3.12.

https://www.amigans.net/modules/newbb/ ... id=145704#forumpost145704 but it doesn't work for me.
I installed it in an extra folder and Netsurf was not overwritten.
