Two new features

I got a request for showing the contents of archives so I've added a function that does just that, click the [Show content] link on a files readme page. Currently this only works for .zip, .lha, .tar.gz, and .tar.bz2.

The following feature seems to have been missed by a lot of people. It is now possible to see both the number of downloads for a current version of a file, as well as the accumulated number of downloads for all versions of a file. The initial values for the accumulated downloads was extracted from download logs and may not be 100% accurate.

What about adding a search by date.
Or even search by author?

Search by date isn't there, but author certainly is:

http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=modules/sql/search

And there's a top uploader list

http://os4depot.net/index.php?function=modules/sql/topuploaders

I'll add date searching (no not that kind of date) to the todo llist.

How about OS4Depot remembering what files you have downloaded.

I can put it on the list but that would require a bit of work. Would have to identify people somehow. IP isn't enough since people tend to change often. Cookies would only work for people who has one computer. A login system perhaps, if one wants to login before downloading a file.

Er... no thanks! I can remember what I've downloaded just fine unlike some people.
