(Valgrind tells me this program has some memory leaks and it uses uninitialized memory. I will check those later.)

Thanks for the new version, I've played around with it a bit and I really like the new MilkyTracker interface, it looks a bit tidier and more modern.

There is no DSI or GrimReaper when I start MilkyTracker, everything seems to be stable.

When you have the Peak Level meter displayed while playing a song, does the PATTERNS label to the left of the meter keep flashing for you? (To see this bug, you need to click on the PEAK button at the very top of the screen.)

Yes, the Peak option also flashes on the left-hand side of Patterns. Is this really an error?

I can't see a reason why a GUI label would flash. It certainly doesn't in the developer's walkthrough video. Plus, our port of MilkyTracker never did that before, so I'd say it's a bug.

"Patterns" text flickers also on Linux, when volume goes to red.

Thanks for the error report, you can also link to my video where it can be clearly seen in the last part of the video.

Thanks, I can see it now. However, the developer was able to reproduce it on his machine as well, so we're covered

I can't wait to use the new version; too bad I'm working on another project at the moment

DSI issue is caused because ListBox class getSelectedIndex returns -1, which ListBoxFileBrowser uses as an array index without checking. This is simple to fix. However file browser works differently on Linux, by showing the usual dot directories, possibly this is the reason why it doesn't segfault on Linux, because there is always some content in the box.

So something to fix, and perhaps something to improve.
