Hello All. I am pleased to announce that the following noteworthy Amiga programmers have agreed to lend their support to this event. They are: Chris Young aka Chris (Unsatisfactory Software) Simon Archer aka Rigo (AmiUpdate) Paul Heams aka Bean (TuneNet) As stated before venue, date and costs are yet to yet be determined. So far, those who have confirmed are: Jurassic C Myself (Mikey C) Swisso Yoodoo2 OldAmiganI am aware others have expressed an interest in learning C in the past, but given it was a long time ago, I am throwing it open again Note: You will need a machine running OS4. Date is most likely to set as a weekend date. You will need to bring your Amiga along, (other equipment may be necessary) as well as allow time for travelling. Please post here if you are interested.

Okay. Added OldAmigan to list. So that's 5 in total so far. Anymore takers?

If I can summon up enough interest in the Amiga, and can make the date, yes I would be interested (the company would be good too looking at the attendees, apart from Chris of course
)

@Chris
I did get your PM and yes, it does make sense, however, being honest, I doubt we are gonna find a venue available this side of christmas at a weekend
Unless of course we go for the stafford upon avon one, which, whilst very tempting indeed, needs to be weighed up against other possibilities.
To be honest, I am holding out for (HOPEFULLY) the imminent release of OS4 for Classic. That way a lot more people will be able to attend.
So, maybe some time in Jan/Feb next year wouldn't be a bad thing.
I am keeping this under constant review though.

@Rudei That's a matter of opinion! @Mikey_C Yes, certainly good to hold out for OS4 Classic. Chris

@Mikey_C I don't mind sharing my A1 for the weekend if someone who doesn't have one wishes to attend.

@OldAmigan
I am awaiting the release of OS4 for classic in the hope that it will boost the number of attendees. Now given that Christmas is just around the corner, then how people will be paying off Xmas right up till Feb, I reckon march/april next year is probably a good time for everyone.
Let me know if anyone disagrees.

@Mikey_C And as for an impromptu 3CAG meeting in early December if OS4 gets released for Classic, anyone had anymore thoughts on that? Rude!
