[SOLVED] Remap menu key using allkeys
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
Hello, I am trying to remap the "menu" key as "right amiga".
I found some thread about but no suggestion was good for me so I am trying to detect the code of my "menu" key with allkey utility I found on OS4depot.

It seems many people solved with:
SetEnv SAVE usb/hid.keyboard/rgui 0x00070065

but it does not work for me; using allekys output (please see the image below) I tried
SetEnv SAVE usb/hid.keyboard/rgui 0x0007006E

but it do not work too - maybe I am making mess trying to find the code for my menù key?

@MazinKaesar
Try using
setenv kbddev_norwin 1
saveenv
In the firmware prompt (not in AmigaOS!).
Should work for all U-Boot based systems (EyeTech AmigaOne SE/XE/µA1, Sam4x0, X5000 and A1222), not sure if it works with CFE (X1000) and SmartFirmware (Pegasos2) systems as well.

It seems I can't type anything as I entering uboot prompt.
I will try a way to remap it via operative system.

Using
NVSETVAR kbddev_norwin 1
in an AmigaOS shell instead should work as well on most systems, but may require a cold reboot before it's used.
