Anyone got a link to the X5000/40 manual
or has the old link to recommended ram for
X5000/20 and X5000/40?

Or even better what's the fastest ram to buy for a X5000/40 today?

Edit: Found the link to compatible RAM - https://wiki.amiga.org/index.php/X5000#Memory_Configuration

Placed an order for a X5000/40 motherboard now so don't reply with any
downsides over a X5000/20. ;)

Why should there be disadvantages?

I can assure you that the X5000/40 is a tick faster than the 20 version in all disciplines, there are no disadvantages compared to the X5000/20 and I also have benchmarks under realistic conditions. If you want to see them let me know...

The only disadvantage is the 4 cores that cannot be used by AmigaOs4.1, but we have exactly the same problem with the 20 version. What we are missing is multicore support which unfortunately we will not see.

Otherwise, congratulations on the X5000/40 motherboard.
