I'm install from my original old CD on my SAM460LE and all process was easy and automatic and works with videos and audio.

The game runs little slow on my SAM60, but I appreciate this new ports for our AmigaNG.

You might try if adding -g parameter into the start script (Warcraft2 filename, it is a simple script file) makes it faster on Sam 460. This is pure software rendering then instead of OpenGL.

Thanks! I renamed all the WAV files according to the list you provided and moved them into the Music folder. Everything is working perfectly now.

By the way, I ripped the tracks directly from the CD image on the Amiga using a program called ADRipper, so I didn’t even need to use a PC to extract the audio.

I’ve uploaded a video to YouTube showing how the game runs on my A1222 with the music enabled.
Apologies for the video quality – I’m recording with one hand while playing with the other.
No fancy setup here, just filming with my phone!

Big thanks for your support and patience throughout this. I really appreciate it. I highly recommend that everyone buy this to support your great work!

Looking forward to (hopefully) seeing warcraft 2 video support for A1222 machines in the near future!

Hmm.. The original version CD that I’ve have used and ripped the music from has only 16 audio tracks (like in the first tracklist you posted), not 17 as listed in your latest tracklist update.

Yes, the Track #17 is only on the Expansion CD (not even sure if on all editions of it).

Still in your case if you do not have the expansion CD the correct order is

(P_Rename #music1-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Battle 1.wav"))
(P_Rename #music2-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Battle 2.wav"))

(P_Rename #music4-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Battle 4.wav"))
(P_Rename #music5-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Battle 5.wav"))
(P_Rename #music6-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Briefing.wav"))
(P_Rename #music7-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Victory.wav"))
(P_Rename #music8-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Human Defeat.wav"))
(P_Rename #music9-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Orc Battle 1.wav"))
(P_Rename #music10-file (tackon #strat-dir "wc2.data/music/Orc Battle 2.wav"))

@Estrayk

If your system uses RGB16PC (RGB16 Byteswapped) but has a 24 or 32 Bit mode without byteswapping you might try

Stratagus -D 24

or

Stratagus -D 32

if this is faster (but I suspect it might be even slower, due to the higher bit depth).

By default Stratagus uses 16 Bit Color Depth on the Amiga port (I think PC port defaults to 32 Bit, I made it 16 Bit on Amiga version).

Now with -g option enabled the game runs at very good speed for my SAM460. Thanks for your work and your help.
Without -g option enable my speed was similar to previous @Estrayk video on Pegasos2.

Now my startup script is this:

stack 2000000
Stratagus -D 16 -g -d wc2.data >nil: *>nil:

Here a small video working.

I have tried changing the colour depth and there is no impact on performance.

but good news, with " -g -b -r " performance has improved significantly and is now very playable. :)

If you use -b additionally the game runs "as fast as possible" and adds a graphical

I finally had the time to install it and test it, everything worked out of the box as expected. The installer copied all the datas file into destination directory and the music was copied and converted without problems. On my Sam440ep mini-itx run fine and I also noticed that you put mplayer in the game directory, indeed the movies play fine without problems.

Just a question, as I installed the standard game and not the expansion, do you plan to create an installer to install the expansion after having installed the basic game?

Thanks
