@Skov Any additional info? I suppose the message is on the PC side (Windows)?
How frequently did you use it? These things don't have an infiinite number of accesses.
If there's nothing crucial and it is recognized on either side, Amiga or the other, and the manual says how to format it and restore its software I would format it and see if it is ok. Usually it is yes/no situation (ability to format). If no --- get another one, they're cheap these days.
I hope it helps, Jack

@Skov I had a simular problem not long ago with both an mp3 player and external hd worked perfectly until i used them in friends pc both then wouldn't work on either my mac or A1 had to format it in A1 then worked again in mac and A1 :) so use OS4 to format it :)
Amiga is the heart and soul of computing nothing else comes close
It works perfectly on my PC. The error message is on the AmigaONE. Can't format it as it never appears on the workbench. I only get the error message...
Is it usb-fixed A1? If not you're probably using a usb hub tio allow re-plugging devices.
[edit]: as poweramiga already noted above (was editing it too log due to distraction)
If so try it (hub) on the PC.

Have you tried to disconnect all USB things and reconnect after?
Yes, I am using a MicroA1...
And I have tried disconnecting all USB things as it's the only one
It's really strange... Will try to connect my PSP when I get back form work to see if it's all usb devices or just this one...
While we're at it, I have some weird problems with the A1... You know, normally OS4 boots like lightning but ever since I installed pre.4 (which is great!) it's taking quite long to boot.
At first it boots nice and quickly to the menu where I can select if I want to boot normal or de-bug. Then I select the normal and it boots on. This takes up to a minute...
When I don't remember to turn on my dsl modem I get the same problem.
Maybe it waits for an internet connection you don't have?
Just a thought.
On the other matter, you're shure it worked with beta4, because when I changed to beta4 my USB-Midi connection to my piano went dead, but the other USB-Midi still works, with the same driver, strange.

Like it's waiting for something... hmm...
I have the same thing, think it has some thing to do whit boot priorities (media toolbox), or maybe I have SIL drivers enabled again?

Well, the modem is always turned on...
And it has worked for a long time with pre.4... I installed the update the day it came out and it only stopped working a couple of days ago...
