MPlayer 1.0 RC2 - Leitmotiv Version

There needs to be a space between ">NIL:" and "-quiet". As it is it's trying to redirect output to "NIL:-quiet".

One thing I can't understand though, is why the included .flv file plays straight away with MPlayer as its default tool, without any parameters. In fact I have even copied a 258mb .avi to the MPlayer directory, changed it's default tool to MPlayer and it played straight away. No need for any of the parameters in the script.
Surely that would mean it should possible to set up MPlayer directly as the default tool in the def.avi, or def.flv icons? I can't understand what is stopping it.

Any pointers?

I have the same problem with my finger's, and usually rely on copy & paste, that way hopefully typo's are not my fault.

no, that problem is not related to the stack but i thinkl that the only way to run mplayer in a deficon is using that kind of scripts

thanks for a great program, very gratefull for your hard work. DVplayer is good also but it cannot show all filetypes like Mplayer now can.
