I found tunenet unable to display the tags of some files here. The file was created using grip here (afair, using lame). Here's the listing of the tags using id3v2 linux tool:
id3v1 tag info for /wd2/mp3/Jethro_Tull/1970-Benefit/10-Sossity,_You're_A_Woman.mp3:
Title : Sossity, You're A Woman Artist: Jethro Tull Album : Benefit Year: 1970, Genre: Progress. Rock (92) Comment: Created by Grip Track: 10 id3v2 tag info for /wd2/mp3/Jethro_Tull/1970-Benefit/10-Sossity,_You're_A_Woman.mp3: TIT2 (Title/songname/content description): Sossity, You're A Woman TPE1 (Lead performer(s)/Soloist(s)): Jethro Tull TALB (Album/Movie/Show title): Benefit TYER (Year): 1970 TRCK (Track number/Position in set): 10 COMM (Comments): (ID3v1 Comment)[XXX]: Created by Grip TCON (Content type): Progress. The stuff appears with id3v1 only flags too:

've had similar issues with MP3 tags. Supposed to be sorted in the next full Tunenet release
Hope so. Interesting thing: some files are displayed well.

TuneNet supports ID3V2 tags only at this point in time (for MP3 files). I am looking to extend the support. It is possible that it could be a bit broken with the previous release - I seem to remember having to add work-arounds for certain broken tags (a certain version of iTunes for one) which may cause a few other problems.
I do intend to get back to programming with my A1 very soon now...
If you want the specific samles, I can send you. No iTunes here. These are home-made from CDs (usually grip on linux, or made on A1 and reorganized with Amaraok, and sometimes retagged with UTF8 to make some characters displayed correctly).
BTW: I tried to contact you regarding stuff (lastfm, via pm and email).

Hey, matey, unfortunately, I had to re-build my OS4 partition this weekend gone. (re-did from Scratch) When I try and run that version of Tunenet you installed for me, I am unable to get the skins working, I know there was a problem with this, and you downloaded something to fix it. What was it?
Thanks.

No cause is lost if there is but one fool left to fight for it.
expat.library is for SDK and compiling. I think I saw 'run' tunenet. I think there's some kind of link virus or bug. My tunenet won't play a playlist; it continues to repeat the first song in the list, no matter what the settings are??? I restored the one in backup, and it continues to ingnore settings! Excuse the pun, but it 'sounds' like some kind of link problem. Y/N ?

Maybe this can solve the entire issue completely? It's #1 in the list c/c++ implementations on www.id3.org ...
