I'm hoping to get either a brand new car, or a second hand with only Jaguar as the previous owner so if there were something wrong with the car, they would have fixed it already...
Though talking around, I found that the Sovereign is great on Motorway (with its 150 mph), but taking curves like a speed boat ! So I might stick with an X-Type 2.5 or something similar instead... As my second car !
Well I'm not fully decided yet as to what and when...

Citroen and Peugeot belong to the same group, PSA, and they share many components, but I don't really know if what you say is true. The reason I bought that car is because its design is different, at least to me, from the rest of cars. Lately, all the cars of the same segment look all the same, with a rounded rear: Ford Focus, Kia Cee'd, Seat Leon, Fiat Bravo, Peugeot 307, Volkswagen Golf... all look very alike to me and I've never liked that rounded rear that all those have, that's why I chose this one, its rear is more... sharp. I don't even like the other version of the C4, the 5-doors one, with the rounded rear. C4 Coup? looks more like an arrow or a bullet, the rest of cars look like a drop.
My other option was the new Honda Civic, looks really cool and aggressive, but back then when I bought my car it had been just introduced to the market and it was really much more expensive than the C4.

Pay no mind, there's no real difference between a Citroen and a Pug these days and that statement from Outie is based on an urban myth from the '80s!
As for the new Civic, a good car, but I found two disadvantages:
A) the speedo is only really visible between the gap in the steering wheel - if you are quite tall (like me) it makes it difficult to see
B) the visibility out of the front windscreen and side windows is impaired a bit by the roof beams leading down the front of the car - it means you have a worse blind spot than usual.
On the plus side, it handled pretty well (not as well as a DC2 Intergra but then what FWD car does) and it had plenty of poke - it was fun when you turned the traction control off too!
There are a lot worse cars out there for the money, and Honda's in general are well engineered and reliable.
But yes,it's an 87 m3. Working very well infact.Gone 231000km. Has been parked for the winter, too much salt on the roads around here.old cars don't like that.
Thanks, she's running okay, but lately, over the last month, I have noticed that she is starting to loose a bit of Oil, its not leaking anywhere, so I can only summise that the engine is starting to wear.
I have ordered this stuff, recommended by distinguished Motoring Journalist Quentin Willson, at ?20 its not a lot of money and if it saves the engine from an expensive re-build, then who am I to argue?)

Hehe... Do you want some ? I have some fresh grass from my garden... Collection only as I don't want to take the "grass cutter" out, and the gardener find it to cold to come over !...
