Skinning OS3.x (AfA 4.0 released!)

Bernd has just released the latest AfA beta, which now includes "skinning" -- which replaces the functions performed by Birdie & VisualPrefs.

It also adds icon scaling, which makes 32bit icons more useful on lower resolution screens. Plus, the smaller icons display faster -- good for classic machines.

In addition to what Birdie & VP does, it also replaces the screentitle, scrollbars, containers, and window borders with individual images.

It looks amazing!

I painted 7 skins for the initial release.

This utility is like amikit but for real amiga ? does it support gfx card ?

What are the future plans for AfA OS? What else can be done with it?

Is there any FAQ on how to get the skinning working? it's not working for my system.

I am previously using visual prefs and birdie, I commented them out of s-s and tried to load a skin in afa prefs but it didn't work, the windows looked all messed up.

Ok I got it working but the MUI window gadgets aren't looking proper...is there any fix for that?

Did the suggested install and it does not respond. Can't get the engine to run. Checked it all out and it ignores the c:'AFA load' in SS. Was this system tested on a 'real' Amiga and OS4 + July07update?

AFA_OS is only for OS 3.x 68K as far as I know...

You don't need it in OS4 as OS4 already has the features that AFA_OS is giving...

Also, I've downloaded everything from you site, but I can't find that AmigaInput icon. Was it included in the latest archives?

AmigaOS3.x does not have AmigaInput.

Who mentioned OS3? I have OS4, which is why I asked about using Kens themes with it. Seems fairly obvious to me....
