PartitionWizard crash on checking sys:
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
Hi!

If I try to check my system partition, it crash on exit PartitionWizard.
The check function did not found any problem.
It is a small (1.3Gb) partition with SFS 1.279.

After reset the contents of the debugbuffer is the following:

a1ide.device 52.1 (09.12.2006)

Tried to reformat the partition, but that doesn't help.

Any thoughts?

Bye!

@lazi

Have you tried booting from the OS4 CD and then running PartitionWizard on the partition?

I once did have same problem as you,

Every time I tried fix the problem the drive become corrupted because of some cross linked files.

If I remember correctly I gave up, and make backup copy of every thing after that format drive and installed SFS, previously the drive contained FastFileSystem whit long name support, luckily most of the stuff was not damaged, just most recent C and H files was damaged.
