I can't scroll down the page at the following web site even with version 1.19. The page is usable in IBrowse but not perfect.

IBrowse doesn't support CSS. You can't scroll the left side with the mouse wheel in other WebKit browsers either, only with the scrollbar - but OWB doesn't include scrollbars yet, and that's unlikely to change soon.

Another one for you... Go There...
The menu is displayed correctly (OWB 1.19)... But then double-clicking on the menu and get a Guru error ! I tried 3 times, but I didn't have time to investigate further...

It doesn't crash here, but it seems I broke something in the AmigaOS4 version since I can only select the first entry in each menu, in the Linux OWB all work.

A gadget to iconify the OWB window would be great...
Thanks for your good work.

Could it be the frame ?
From the second options of the menu, they are over the frame below...

I haven't managed to crash 1.19 yet. Good work!
But I can confirm the slow scrolling (compared to 1.15, the version I used before this).
What I miss the most now is support for multiple windows.

Alex.

The 1.20 version is out and there is also the 1.12 for 68k

It is more faster than previous version

I have only a little problem displaying this site, i have the left table of the site ( User Menu, Main Menu ) larger than normal ( with IBrowse no problem ) and i don't know why.. any ideas ?

This problem i had it with every version but i tought that it was for the early versions.. not that i still have the problem i ask you for some hint

I agree with nubechecorre, V1.20 is clearly faster than previous versions. However, there is a problem with the redraw of the website as it is scrolled. Scroll down a small amount and then back up. The page is "bitten away" in chunks to the limit of the size of the scrollable windows height.

Long category names in the OS4Depot.net links, currently the "development/library/audio" from taglib.lha.
FireFox ("development/library" "/audio") and Opera ("development/library/" "audio") split it into 2 lines, WebKit based browsers don't.

The main page uses image maps which aren't supported in OWB.

I added external scroll bars for the complete page in the AmigaOS4 version of OWB, for objects inside of the page (frames, textareas, etc.) there are no scroll bars yet.
If you access for example http://www.bmwccn.no/nor/kapittel3/fora/forum.aspx?Side=1 directly and only a single frame is displayed the scroll bars work.

OWB V1.20 crashes on This site (on my A1 G4XE with 256M RAM anyway):

PS2 game walkthrough

Older versions of OWB usually wouldn't scoll all the way down on this site but they wouldn't crash.

IBrowse can view this site without crashing (but it doesn't look as good)

Here's a link to the crashlog:

Doesn't crash here if the LOWMEM tooltype is enabled, without it the page needs 490 MB RAM, in a 800x600 window the page is 800x160557. I've fixed the crashes caused by the NULL pointer accesses when running out of memory, for http://crashlog.os4depot.net/cl25 as well.

But even with LOWMEM enabled such large pages can't work because SDL is limited to a height of 32767 (should probably be 65535, but that wouldn't help much), overflows and prints texts from later parts 4 times over the one at the beginning of the page. For texts I've patially fixed that as well now, at least in the first 32700 rows it doesn't overwrite the texts any more.

Played a bit with v1.20 today and there's something weird happening. If I start OWB (with default size window) and then resize the window, scrolling the page down with mouse shifts the whole page to the right. Furthermore if I do this for example with amigans.net I cannot enter the login information as the text fields don't work anymore. If I then close OWB and restart it everything (including text fields) works again.

edit: This problem seems to occur only if "LOWMEM" tooltype is enabled.

Many thanks for your continuing efforts to improve OWB!

Sorry, I didn't have time to check it yet, it's probably still the same in the OWB version 1.21 I've just uploaded.

Did you test it with version 1.21? I did fix the crashes I got with the acid3 test, if it still crashes for you please post the crashlog.
