smell the coFFE

Sorry for the title I couldn't resist.

Now I have got my DVDwriter working properly, I am trying out coFFE, and keep getting DSI errors.

Has anyone got it working on OS4Final.
The crashlog tells me it is crashing in axpat2.library.

I have searched on OS4Depot, etc and cannot determine the latest versions available, and what version of OS4 coFFE runs on.

Any help greatfully received.

CoFEE is a cd/dvd copying software written by the author of Fryingpan.

Sorry that should be expat2library, it is part of the coFFE paclage, but I don't know what it does.

Maybe you could ask the author why he is using his own expat.library?

If it's because of the missing 68k compatibility in the ppc expat.library then I have already fixed this without changing libexpat itself or any of the ppc parts and sent the fixes to ssolie. It just hasn't been released yet because there are AFAIK no 68k programs that use expat.library and would need this update.

iirc Tomek "abandoned" CoFFE in favour of FryingPan.

He said once on the FP ml that the features within coFFE
will eventually be integrated into FP.

Anyway coFFE is old now and probably full of beta bugs and
problems regarding the new OS4 memory system (again iirc it
was written before the new memory system was introduced)

You could throw a question on the FP ml, though Tomek seems
to be quite silent these weeks

I sent a mail to the FP yahoo list, but got a bounced message returned.
I have since forwarded my email to Tomek direct, but have notmyet recieved a reply.

I booted into OS4pre4, and ran coFFE, but I haven't succeded in working out how it works yet, nor wether it works correctly.
