Fellow Amigans.

I would like you to dig deep into your pockets, and donate, whatever you have spare to the following two causes please.

1: OS4depot.net
I think we can all agree that at some time or another we have used OS4Depot. Orgin will hate me for saying this, but he only gets about 2 Donations a year to keep the site going. If you use OS4Depot, please consider a donation.
- The donate link is at the bottom of the left hand side of the page.

2:FriedenHQ The Frieden boys have ported yet another Game to AmigaOS4. Show your appreciation if you can.
(Please note, I am not 100% sure on this, but I don't think the Friedens would wish you to donate money towards OS4 via this site. I am sure this is for their porting efforts only - Quake3?)

As to Amigans.net we are 73% towards the total with the renewal due around October, so some time to go yet - don't panic.

Say thank you to some of the guys that make the Amiga scene tick.

Can I just add, that there are loads of other developers whom I'm sure will appreciate some support.

eg. Joerg (SFS, OWB), Bean (TuneNet), Spot (loads of ports), EvilRich (UAE, SDL), Ken & Mason (icons) etc etc etc - many more. Find your favourite apps and send the author a few pennies. This works for OS3 people too!

If you have no money, find other ways to contribute, by writing plug-ins, guides, drawing icons, translations, feedback emails, bug reports or whatever.

Pending until I can find a 1996 PC copy of "DescentII" somewhere. Thanks guys for a new game. Enjoyed Quake and Quake2. Looking forward to D2X!

I have already donated to other Amiga developers including OWB, Wookiechat and others that I can barely remember now, (old age)

I am just highlighting these two because I think they are the most relevant right now.



By all means, donate to whichever Amiga developer you like, but like me, I bet most people's trouser pockets are finite.

This site is ours, it's not related in any way to Hyperion Entertainment or any other company involved in the Amiga business. As such, it's an enthusiast's homepage like countless others out there.

And yes, before you ask, getting Quake 3 up to specs is on the table, too, as well as several other projects.

All very well said & I don't mind donating towards people's hard work & support, just wish I had OS4 up & running! Stuck on os3.9 but will get there & start using the os4depot

I usually send a personal email to all OS4Depot donors, but since a few emails bounced I'd like to publicly thank everyone who has shown their support for OS4Depot!
