Just thought I'd try and register on this site as It seem to be ahead of all the other forums.

Hope you can ignore all that stuff about me we can have some good conversations.

I have been spending my time modding a Gift A1200 Tower case.

I have a cut out side window. spray the outer casing black.

The full steel chassic has been painted UV green that glows bright under UV light, this was provided by Merlin from Amibay/Oldskool UK.

I have used metal grilling on the window and put dual cold cathode UV Fans inside to glow the paint up.

Its a rare ID4 Mainboard with 3.1 KS AmigaSYS3Plus AGA DVD-ROM, Thermaltake variable adjuster for the lighting and fans and sound activated cathode and special modde leds for power and hd activity.

It looks well cool.

There is just a few more thing I would like to do before I take pictures.


I wanna get an LCD TV or scandoubler and LCD Monitor for it and modify a a nice black keyboard with red A's on it for amiga keys.

The tower has gift Keyabord interface with goes over the keyboard MPU Chip and you contect the reset button to it and you can press more than one key at once unlike the pckey1200.

Any way hope we can forget all our troubles and I have stopped selling any Amiga related stuff now I just Mod :)

LCD TV's are either low res (320x240) for game boxes or HD neither of which is suitale.

No need to buy a scandouble and monitor when you can buy a monitor with a built in scan doubler...

Buy a pc monitor with an added tv tuner, that way you get the specs of a monitor (eg. high resolution) and usually RF, Scart & Composite inputs. so you can use it on a mac / pc / rtg amiga and with a simple button press, switch over to the 1200...

sound a good idea to get a high res tft with scart this would be perfect for me cheers.

I wanted to sell some of my spare stuff to get a mediator and a voodoo but I have no meen to sell them now.

Is there a clasified section of here?

There ia alot a have learnt in the last few months and it has awakened me even more..I have loads of infromation to share it just depend on wether you would like to listen.

I think it when the Satanist put a foot on the technology and used it as the main Amiga logo.

Ive just blown my A1200 PAL Dark Green ID4 motherboard I think or I have messed the roms up :(

It comes on black but the roms dont kick, I will have to het some old 3.0 roms to test it.

Hi are you giving it the full 30secs to search for IDE devices? Could be your HDD is goosed...

Yeah man ive waited for ages and it dont kick in just black screen as if there is no roms in.

Ill have to wait till I get some other roms to test it.

Anybody got any old Roms to sell?

I dont use FeeBay anymore.
