Same here.
I thought it was my router, seems to muck about with AWorld sometimes... but seems its there end now.
Seems like AW.net is having quite a few problems lately.
Alex.

I just logged onto irc with fr.amigaworld.net and had no problem.
This should confirm what we discussed in irc.
The issue is http only. (this time)

@number6 Strangely, I just got the same timeout when I clicked an AmiKit link in another forum here. Is the Amiga world under attack or something??

Hi abalaban,
How about
mice ?
Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!!
How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally.

@ Thread I hope DaveyD will not mind me posting this: FROM AMIGAWORLD.NET: Hackers hacked into our server and used our server for filesharing 30GB of warez, they found an anon ftp account on aw.net and somehow got past our firewall rules that should have blocked their ftp access. Unfortunately these warez were undetected for some time. This 30GB of warez was getting backed up by our backup script every time it did a full backup (remote and local), this caused massive backup files that used up all the harddrive space on the server causing the downtime. Unfortunately because our server ran out of harddisk space it has caused some data loss in the website's database. We'll try our best to recover the missing data. We have reported their IP addresses to BSA and their ISPs. Please report any unusual anomalies on the website. Thanks Regards DaveyD Webmaster
