Is it possible to save the shell history buffer to a file?
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but the history buffer size can be increased, but can a person do it from a command right at the shell prompt?

And use it in the following sessions? Nice feature to have. Afaik, it isn't there, but I would gladly stand corrected...

Not just that, but I've often manually transferred SW to get it going or want some particular set up, and 20 commands later got it working, and then it's, write it all agian from memory, as I have only ever had 1.3.3 before my AmigaOne, and didn't have copy/paste to make it a BIT easier to do.
So, I figure a history dump to ASCII file, tidy it up, and I have a new script file easily ready to go!
