You get good service from AmigaKit. I've been using them.
The biggest problem I see is repairs. I don't like shipping my machine anywhere. I prefer to drop off and pick up to avoid shipping damage. But, what are you going to do when there are not any repair shops for hundreds of miles around?
Dear sirs, I have been an Amiga dealer since 1988 and sold all the A1 systems I could get my hands on. In light of that it puzzles me that my request to resell the OS here has fallen on deaf ears. In fact while I was in Germany last year I ordered OS4 classic from a dealer there and never received it. Help me here lets get this great OS back in the U.S.
I've also emailed the Amiga dealers here in the states which I use to do business with. The emails are not returned, but alas there is never a reply. You'd think from here in Michigan to the state of Washington there would be one busy dealership? Economics is having an effect here. Michigan ranks 50th of worse US states. I'm seriously think of passing the OS4.1 upgrade. It's a $200+ USD upgrade which I don't exactly have that right now. OK, there's the credit card, but... So, AmigaKit is getting my business... Me too!
I emailed Software Hut at the beginning of July and when I received no response, I too ordered from AmigaKit. However, I just received a response from SoftHut yesterday and Joe wasn't even aware of the OS 4.1 release. My interpretation of his email is that he was expecting to hear from Amiga Inc. about any new developments for A1/OS4 (laughing loudly at the thought that AI is doing anything useful). I can't really blame Joe for concentrating on earning a living when the Amiga market is barely alive in the U.S.

Sounds like he has given up on reading at least one forum or even his business email. I never received any response, at least so far.

Laughing out loud is good for you. Also very correct for this situation.

Nor can I blame him. There is not much market left thanks to McFries. I wish Joe well.
