Am Cursed I tell ya! - Cursed!

I can't believe my rotten luck with my Micro A1

Its been okay-ish, but its now starting to drive me up the wall.

first, I had a CDRW on it, which appeared to break, so temporarily, I got me a plain CD-ROM, which worked fine, however, not exactly being blessed with cash to splash around, I waited until a kind friend gave me a DVDRW for it, for which I was extremely grateful. However, Now the DVDRW has gone too.

On top of that, Since getting OS4.1 OTTD does not work, I can't get Wipeout to work either.

I am so miserable about this, if this keeps up, I'll have to go back to using a vic-20

Just out of interest, anyone got OTTD working with OS4.1?

No but I can emulate a Vic 20 with it

Wipeout works here and doesn't seem to crash on exit anymore. However there are now black rectangles under the ships instead of shadows and the energy and thrust meters are black, which has a serious affect on the playabilty of the game.

I got Wipeout 2097 working!!

I am still in shock, although, admittedly as rob points out, the graphics are a bit corrupt

But it works, one step forward
