To not be lazy here is my screenshot. Little boring but im like that :) Amistart have problems with os4.1. Rendering problems so some icons/images are missing etc. Darius Brewka where are yooooooouuuuuuu. I need a fixed amistart ;)

Was it you who painted them originally?

I seem to remember that they were used in a
mock-up OS4.0 screenshot from 1998, or somewhere
like that.

I also remember them being shown in the Swedish
Amiga magazine called AmigaInfo...?

The basic ideas comes from a few 4.0 mockups that was made in the late 90's.

There was also another version of that image as well, but I was never able to find it.

It was probably around 10 years ago (96-98 or some such) when I painted the first icons drawing inspiration from the above. These new ones are 24bit however, while those I painted back then were 256 color ones.

The inline images are from the 4.1 icon set. But changed to fit the original ideas.

Unfortunately the package I got from amigakit wasn't as well packaged as yours, the box was a bit mangled.
