Problems with USB-Cardreader
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
I have 2 Cardeaders, one Silvercrest which wouldn't work anymore since the July-Update (Babble detected, works OK under OS4.0 ) and one Apollo (i think it's more NoName ) which now under AmigaOS4.1 read a CF-Card which is Amiga-Formatted, but several SD-Cards with FAT-filesystem failed. Nothing happens when i inserted the SD-Card, so i press Amiga-M and no Window appears. If i remove the CardReader from USB the Massstorage-Window opens!But whatever i try no SD-Card appears there in the Window.
All OK with the Amiga-Formatted CF-Card.
Both Cardreader and all SD-cards are working with WinXP-Laptop.

Tested now one 256MB, one 1GB and two 2GB-SD-cards.
The 256MB-card and 1GB-card are OK, the 2GB-cards are not working. Is there a restriction? O_o

@Tomcat

I have had to copy massstorage.usbfd v52.2 (Dec 2006)
into the OS4.1 kickstart drawer in order to get my
SD cards working with my Apacer reader.

I have 32MB, 128MB 1 GB, 8 GB SD cards. None worked until I di dthe above.

UPDATE
1GB-CF-card and 16GB-CF-card working. Both Amiga-formatted. The SD-cards are all FAT-formatted.

I'll check with massstorage.usbfd v52.2 again, thanks.

UPDATE II
Checked with masstorage.usbfd V52.2, but the cardreader wouldn't work with it. The LED ist off then.
