I didn't used NTFS, but used ext2/3 from the same source, used only for reading but worked well. Maybe we can try to contact the author for an OS4 version
@samwel I don't know much, but my understanding is that (a) it isn't documented very well (dunno about OS4...), and (b) the way filing-systems are supported is a bit of mess due to poor design inherited from early AmigaOS days.
So consider I have installed the NTFS driver and the TD64 patch, how would I go about mounting a partition on a PC hard-disk with it?
like kotler sayd, I used giggledisk to generate the mountlist, the bad part was that giggledisk doesn't recognized all the partitions on the hd, but was a very complex one, on others hd giggledisk worked well
and they're completely different from filesystems on other platforms (ie. porting filesystems from other platforms isn't easy)
btw for http-handler I got most of the documentation from the old AmigaMail archives on the DevCD (handlers are similar to filesystems but less complicated). There's no real documentation for this stuff in the autodocs, includes or even the RKRMs. I've been told the Amiga Guru Handbook is the best source, although I've never seen a copy.
@Chris Ah, that book would be the one where a rewrite was finished & it was going to be published (by Guru Meditations?), and they cancelled it at the last moment because of one new torrent to the OLD book (which IMHO seemed like an excuse to not publish, since torrents for everything are on Pirate Bay, and punishing everyone for one persons actions doesn't make sense).
There's empty-handler source on OS4 depot which I OS4-ified. There are a few things I discovered after uploading that, so it isn't 100% up to OS4 spec. I'll take a look at it and send you an update.
