Yes the svn access is built like that.
Mostly because that is the only way anyone suggested that it was done (suggested by Rigo). However anyone willing to participate in the OpenAmiga project is welcome to voice their opinion on issues like svn policies and licenses.
On this particular issue a compromise might be to allow each project manager to set their own policy in regards to anonymous access. However I don't have much time until at least the 20th of December to implement something like that so for now you have to be a project member to access the svn contents of a particular project. An alternative could be to contact ami603 for a copy of the code.
