It?s where interesting to see things like this, but It even more interesting if the game where rewritten to support timer.device, AHI and picasso96.

Maybe you're asking too much... these are retrogaming titles only... I think it was not too hard to convert using graphics from PC'S VGA versions, but it will be much harder to support Picasso or AHI!!!!!

As far as I remember correctly the original EOB is runs on OS4. ('Planar screens on RTG' feature)
...

Ok. I have just tried it... EOB II. Original ECS release. Runs flawlessly with sound. It is a system friendly game.

Hi,

not that i say EOB AGA is bad .... :)

But the King of "EOB" is IMHO the EOB Mod
for NWN - EOB in full 3D and with a fantastic
and ATM still the best RolePlay Engine ;)

Sad that NWN have "yet" not made the way to AmigaOS ...

Hi,

@orgin

YES - this is it!

Have this played trough and it was GIGANTIC !

One of the hardest fights ATM in NWN .....
And the Dvarven caverns are REALY BIG ! Dont fit the screen...

But who know - play ATM the Diabolo1-Lord of Terror
mod :P
[it looks so much better in 3D :P ]

[its hard to find the pearls out of the 3000+ mods for NWN ..]
[and sad - still waiting for an german version of the new 1.69 patch :( ]

Hi MazinKaesar,

Thanks for the details!!!!!!!!!!

A W E S O M E ! ! !

I have EOB I / II and almost all the AD&D gold box games! Really enjoyed trashing them.

(I don't have Secret of the Silver Blades. Probably the only one I lack.)

Amiga versions, of course.

Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!!
How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally.

Loved the Gold Box games. Although I really almost hit my monitor with "Curse of the Azure Bonds"...

Installed the eotb nwn mod and it wasn't similar at all. Ohh well, bit disappointing after 6 hours of installing nwn on ubuntu ;)

For anyone else wanting to install nwn on linux, you need to install the original nwn, shadows of undrentide and hordes of the underdark to play this mod. Check here for linux install instructions (you need an installation cd key for each package, 3 in total, nwn, sou and hotd):

http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/viewcodepost.html?post=2850334

You need to register at http://nwn.bioware.com to get all needed files.

Note, to get it to run properly on my setup I had to disable the sdl library that comes with the linux archive and use the one from my ubuntu install. To do that you need to change the following line in the ./nwn start script.

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./lib:./miles:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

to

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./miles:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

It runs very well once you get through the extremely painful installation procedure. The good thing is that once you're done you can just archive the whole directory and store it away somewhere. And if you need to reinstall, just unarchive it again and run. No need to go through the installation once more.

Hi,

@orgin

have NWN running on Win2k Server.
Yes - it needs the SoU + HoU add-ons and best patched then NWN
to V1.68.
Have installed CEP1.68 + CTP too.

Just downloaded the AGA versions - can't get it to run on OS4.1 but will stick it on my A1200 and see how it turns out.

Cool, can't believe I missed this thread.

Rude!
