Why has amigakit.com removed sam440ep of there website?

The SAM440EP has been discontinued and will be replaced with the Flex version

How's that for a suggestion?

Amigakit asnwers my question, so small batch of boards will be on stock Thursday. These will be send to early customers back orders (before November). :)

BOARDS HAVE BEEN MANUFACTURED AND ARE NOW BEING RECEIVED BY ACUBE IN BATCHES. THEY ARE BEING QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTED BY ACUBE AND WE HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT STOCK WILL BE ARRIVING NEXT WEEK. AS WE RECEIVE STOCK, WE WILL IMMEDIATELY SEND OUT BOARDS TO CUSTOMERS IN THE ORDER THAT WE RECEIVED THEIR PRE-ORDER. THANK YOU.

UPDATE: WE WILL HAVE A SMALL BATCH OF Q.A. TESTED BOARDS FROM ACUBE ON FRIDAY 19TH, THESE WILL BE SENT OUT TO EARLIEST PRE-ORDERS IMMEDIATELY.

The real question is why can't anybody bother to pick up the phone and just call and find out instead of hoping somebody might know something in a forum hidden away from view from a majority of the universe.

Perhaps because they are currently unable to fulfill existing orders (and don't know when all existing will be fulfilled), so they temporarily stop offering it for sale? Seems fair if they don't want too many unhappy customers, especially over the Xmas period...
