Is it just me, or does this version use much less memory? it seems to consume about 5-10mb per additonal window. It seems to be intelligent now, because if I resize the window and make it smaller, my available ram info in the workbench titlebar goes up by a few megs Edit: oops, maybe not. the ram goes down, but the video ram goes up. its just shifting around it seems

Wow, the rendering on this version seems much improved. Sites that gave me problems with previous versions work great!
Keep up the great work Joerg! I'm getting the urge to donate again....uhm, next month after I recover from Christmas.

@orgin It's an error or there is a jump from 2.20 to 3.1? Good work, Joerg, and thanks to afxgroup too. Ciao

No error here. It's a brand new version based on the new OWB release:

You did it once again!
Many thanks for this wonderful gift. Merry Christmas.

OWB 3.1 crashes (GrimReaper) when I start the AddressBook. It worked fined with OWB 2.20 .

The free memory figure is useless because we have memory caching now. Do not rely on it for any kind of memory use metrics. For video memory it is still fine to use it.

In OWB itself I disabled some features which are marked as experimental, even if had them enabled in the AmigaOS 4.x port of Doduo, for example support for SVG animations (and since testing it is part of ACID3 it wont get 100/100). I never tested these features with the Doduo port either, if someone needs them and they worked without (too much) problems in 2.20 I can enable them again in the next version.

Ok, thanks for explain. hope that from this version (Galekid) you can begin to build a "real complete browser" as it seems a good base to start within

@joerg
thanks for the update!
About SVG: please, re-enable everything about it, I use it a lot for web mapping. For example in DoDuo this site:
http://www.carto.net/papers/svg/navigationTools/index.svg was working just fine, with Galekid buttons are blank.
Any chance to see a "open in a new window" kind of thing by right click over a link?

@Joerg, Really well done. Scrolling is now very fast, impressive! Is it possible to load local files? I already donated in 2008. I guess I will do the same in 2009, you deserve it! Cheers, Glames

note that yoy must substitute the ':' in the
