cordless keyboard/mouse set on sam440ep/os41 ?

Hi amigians,

last week week i got my sam440ep system (i started believing on santa claus again

I tried to connect a logitech ex 100 cordless sub keyboard/mouse set. The keyboard works fine but the mouse dont work.

Is this a known problem for sam440ep or OS4.1 or has somebody an working cordless keyboard/mouse set on his sam440ep with OS4.1 (which one ?) ?

there should be connect button on mouse and kayboard and cordless receiver/transmitter, read the install guide provided whit the keyboard, bluetooth mouse will not work.

I'm successfully using a Logitech wireless mouse/keyboard, but the wireless mouse was replaced by a wired one because i was tired of battery changes :)
The w/l keyboard work without problems, if I found a pair of batteries in my home I can try and let you know

I have a logitech cordless mouse/keyboard working perfectly fine here. Just tu be sure to use the usb on back the one of the top for kbd/mouse.

Here we have tested a Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro 2400 and it works just fine with the Sam 440EP boards.

The mouse AND the keyboard are working very well in Amiga OS 4.1 and these models have a 'switch off' button in order to turn off the mouse and the keyboard when not using it.

Logitech Lx7 Wireless mouse works fine.

My Logitech MX1000 works.. however i can not access KickStart Early Boot Menu with it (hold left and right mousebutton at boot)

The timing is a little tight to get the EBS to show up. Generally I have found that holding both buttons down just as the screen goes black after kickstart has loaded works for me. Failing that, press and hold the "Scroll Lock" key at the same point should also bring it up.

I switched the keyyboard/mouse with the cordless ones (Trust) of my linux PC and this works perfekt with SAM440ep an OS41.
So it seems that it is a special problem of the logitech ex 100 and the SAM440ep USB or OS4.1.

It is a realy good feeling to be again an Amigan

That issue was raised on Amigaworld.
Think Rogue provided a fix but can't swear to it.

Maybe someone will benefit from this:
BTC 9029URF III works fine. It's a combo, mouse and keyboard both work.
Didn't try to utilize MM keys though (the keyboard belongs to HTPC, just tried it on A1 from curiosity).
