Some good choices so far, I hope some others will contribute to this discussion... My January nomination: Thanks to Stefan Robl<stefan@qdev.de> for ScreenBlanker and AmiDock! These are wonderful works of Amiga art! I once asked him about the screenblanker not working because of the switch from VIA ide to Adaptec SII ide. Well guess what, it was nice to see the beautiful blankers again in OS4.1! The 'Spiral Blanker' is my favorite. I have one of those Animated GIF Boing Balls spinning in my AmidDock. This stuff is so cool.
Thanks for the nominations, but I'd prefer if others who weren't featured yet would be first. There are a lot more developers who deserve it, and I got a very large donation recently from the cancelled Sputnik bounty, more than 9% of it.
Imho, Edgar and Joerg are the two most crucial developers out there atm. Browser is very complicated project. So is maintaining X11 ports (besides porting there's very slick packaging + source maintainance).
BTW: if Edgar won't be the featured one, he's into some serious A1-related hardware problems that probably will cost much more than battery replacement (hint, hint)
