The registration conversion worked fine -- but there are still no downloads for me.

It shows my registered product, but on the old site I was able to download an OS4.0 update and the 25th Anniversary Theme Pack (there might have been other things, but that's all I can remember).

Can't register my amiga classic OS4.0, I don't have classic hardware :)

The registration doesn't accept my OS4.0 developer prerelease serial for some reason.

And I've apparently lost my OS4 QuakeII CD.

Ohh well, at least I managed to register 4.1 (A1) and Freespace the great war :)

AH, it is not just me then. I tried a few minutes ago and the details I KNOW are correct seem to no longer work.

I hope they get this sorted out soon.

This part sucks big time:

"This website requires a CSS-capable browser like Firefox or OWB. Since OWB does not implement downloading correctly at the time of writing, downloads will not work on OWB. They do work on IBrowse, and although the site will not look correctly on IBrowse you will be able to download files."

What a slap in the face to Amiga users. OWB can't do downloads and the standard workhorse of the Amiga OS is discouraged.

I expect this from banks and non-Amiga sites that do not know any better but for the main Amiga OS site to insist we use another computer to do things is EXTREMELY BAD.

Why use CSS, why not standrad HTNL that is guaranteed to work on any browser ?

Is this 'progress' just for its own sake ?

BTW. The site does look really crap in IBrowse, odd that they did it this way as that is the browser MOST Amiga users will be using !

I've re-registered an account onto the new website: Ok.
Registered Amiga OS 4.1 for Sam440ep: Ok.
Download section : 2 updates for Amiga OS 4.1: Ok.

New Hyperion website work perfectly for me :p

@HANS : I'm now waiting for your MiniGL beta release :p

All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Use ClipDown from OS4Depot for download capability in OWB.

Good to hear that it's not justme.
It doesn't accept mine either.
I have emailed Hans-Joerg, hopefully he can throw some light on it.

By the way the webmaster email adress doesn't seem to work.

The site still works in iBrowse it just doesn't look as nice as it does in a CSS-capable browser.

CSS is only for layout so everything will still be there even if your browser doesn't support CSS. You may just have to search a little harder for it.

This always happens when something other than straight forward and child proof isn't apparent.

People scream blue murder instead of actually realising it's generally just there lack of insight and/or patience.

I'm beginning to seriously question who makes up the Amiga community today.

Are you actual hardcore Amiga users from way back or people who have joined the ranks in recent years (relatively speaking).

I don't like seeing the whining. That is for other platforms. Amiga Users get things done, and quietly with style

I didn't have time to check in to the new site; I checked on my overnight torrents and decided to login to Amigans before heading to work.

I have to register OS4 development, OS4 Classic and OS4 for the SAM. All of which (I am confident) I will accomplish quietly.

Take it easy eh

I am very happy to hear the SAM has two updates

~Yes I am a Kiwi, No, I did not appear as an extra in 'Lord of the Rings'~
