? Sam440ep video signal loss

First Hello to all, I'm a new Sam440ep OS4.1 user. I have a problem with my Sams video signal. The screen goes black at random. It doesn't matter if I'm using the VGA adapter or with the DVI going to a monitor. It happens with the click of the mouse on pretty much anything, at any time. I have to reboot everytime this happens. Has anyone had a problem such as this, or know of a fix for it? Would adding pci video card work around this? Any advice would help.

try adding +RB (or failing that) -RB to the end of your settings in the tooltypes

eg

MODE=1920x1200@60+RB

Good answer ;)

Like Slayer has said it, add +RB or -RB if +RB fails.

I have got this problem after several minutes of my sam usage.

In fact, it does that specially on big resolutions from 1600 x 1200 or 1680 x 1080 and above, on lower resolution, there is not the problem apparently.

I had the same problem here with 1680x1050. Adding +RB solved the problem but I find performance is better at 1440x900 anyway so I use that instead

Thanks for the replys. I changed the info in Dev/Monitors/Radeon. Was that correct? I've tried + and -RB, but I still get blank screens.

Ok. VSYNCMIN and VSYNCMAX are both 60Hz? That is strange.
