MPlayer on SAM's AmigaOS4.1 [FIXED]
Quite a regular

See User information
Hi All,

I try MPlayer and MPlayerGUI.
The software run correctly but I have no audio output. I can choose everyone of the audio output mode ... no sound...
My AHI is correctly configured.
I have installed mpega.library in case of ...

but no audio output ...

Does someone already experience this ?

Forget this,
In fact the AHI Units 0-3 had sound volume to 0 per default with AHI ... Don't know why ... Only music unit was correctly set ...

Regards,
Fred

in fact the MUSIC channel was correctly defined but I don't understand why, audio channel 0 to 3 had sound volume to 0 per default ( I did never change them before )
and I was obliged to use MONO otherwise, on stereo sound output is bug :(

0 db is normal volume, If you increase it above 0 db you clipping and sound distortions.

Are you using V5.5 of the audio driver?
http://os4depot.net/index.php?functio ... e=driver/audio/cs4281.lha

Prior to that version several SAM users mentioned the exact same thing, cranking up volume.

I don't mean CRACKING UP VOLUME
I mean sound is like played at half rate
2 times slower ...

And Yes, I use the latest version ;)

There's a bug in the AHI prefs program.
I think I mentioned it to Martin Blom without any feedback
