but today i've re-compiled the original IBrowse flash plugin with newlib instead of clib2 that doesn't have a single gnash line code.. but is a good step...

Ibrowse flash plugin:

- PPC and 68k version ???

- Are you in touch with the Flash Ibrowse plugins author and member of the Ibrowse plugins Maling List ???

BTW, verry good snapshot have seen the webcam screenshot.

Could be used to have webcams with aos4.1 on some programs ???

The post you mention is dated 5th of June 2009. Since that time, project has evolved. It will be PPC and will, for the start, be a standalone player.

I don't know what you understood, but for me you "only" saw a screenshot of a flash viewer connecting to a remote webcam. I.e. it's not different than f.e. AmiWebView except the viewer is written in flash instead of a ntive language....

How the speed at current state of player ? If i remember right, somebody say that these "free" implemetations of the Flash (gnash and others), are pretty slow by design. That true ? How fast it works with the sound, etc at your machine ?

In generall i think many of us all of this need for youtube plaing in the owb :) Speed is ok with that ? Fab say that "googlevideo can play almost fine on a 1GHz machine,
but youtube can't , might be different with gnash".

Also as i know now, Gnash have experemental GL support ? (i mean will it help us if it will works over MGL) ?

the most advanced renderer is agg. and the problem is not agg but gnash itself. there are some things that must be fixed and enhanced. Flash is also not so fast in its original adobe version. it is normal that you can see youtube video on your new dual core intel laptop.. but you must see the PPC version of the MacMini for example.. it is not so fast..
So don't expect miracles from gnash, but i'm sure it will grow in the future..
now i need only a modern browser that supports NPAPI since i would try to make the plugin

i'm really tired...

Well, YouTube videos runs quite decently on my Pentium III 800 Mhz and also on my old eMac PPC G4 700, ok in HQ I can loose some frames but videos are always playable

No problem at all (in normal quality) using Adobe's plugin

That script problem with YOuTube...

is the script that happens to "remotely" log into YouTube and suck the video hardcoded in your player or can it be made a script outside the player?
Because then it might be possible for other users to treact on those changes without you being begged to change (once again) your code to make ot work again...

Or did i understand it wrong?

Great news, btw, looking forward to play with the player

PS: And yes, What HAPPENED to joerg???
