Bandwidth between gfx-card (DVI-D port) and monitor, not CPU/Memory <->gfx-card.

Ah, well the Sam440ep's built-in 64MB of gfx ram isn't terribly suited to extremely high resolutions (e.g. 1600x1200) anyway, so it's not a major problem if it can't even display the highest ones (using DVI-D).

According to this the answer is yes... (Sam Flex should use FlexATX standard, which is apparently a subset of MicroATX.)

This backplate issue is really annoying to me. I got mine from Amigakit and that big opning isn`t the worlds most sexy thing. Imagine all the things that might get in there; flies, mice and not to mention all those squirrels.

Secondly, the sockets are mounted directly to the motherboard. In the event of being completely drunk and everything, one might trip on, say the network cable, and rip the socket of the motherboard. Lanes on the board might come loose with it and you have yourselfs a broken Amiga.

My idea these days are to find out if I can move the motherboard a bit further into the cabinet, make a backplate with a replica of the sockets on the motherboard onto it. Then I have short extention cables from that going to the motherboard. So in the event of bad luck it is limited to the homemade backplate, and not the motherboard itself.
