I got mine a month ago. A 733 Mhz. There has been a tedious task getting it up and running.

I haven`t had an Amiga since my A4000 blew up back in the 1996 due to a unknown power surge.. But I have always sort of missed the Amiga, but I never baugth one again, until now. Back then I baught a pc. I regret that. There are annoying differences between the Amiga and PC i had to get adjusted to.

Todays computerworld misses what those Amiga-days had: I don`t know,
something... And I was missing it! So I got the Sam Flex.

The Amiga is a bit of a ghost of itself, and I miss running everything native Amiga on the Sam without going through tedious task with emulation here and there. I understand why we have to do this, but i wish OS4.2 did all this automatically.

Having sorted out lots of the new stuff on the Amiga+remembering how the old commands run, and re-re-adjusting back to the Amiga from PC that was all stored in the back of my brain, the result was that my Sam and I have stopped crashing upon eachother and are getting along much better.

There is alot of work being done, I know, and maybe we have the good Amiga era back with that spirit we all know.

I am definently keeping this machine!

Just installed a fast SSD drive in my NON-Flex SAM

My SAM is more silent, cooler and faster Can you beat me SAM flex users?

There has been arguments about the Amiga being very silent "back then". No fans and stuff like the PC. The "Noclick"-command was magical.

My Sam-Flex 733mhz is arriving here on the 29th. :)

The Sam-667 its replacing is in a MicroATX case currently, so it'll be a straight motherboard swap.

Double the ram, double the gfx memory, and 10-20% speed increase. Niiiiiiice. :)
