Does anyone know what's up with PageStream? Their homepage hasn't been updated in quite a while (I just did a forced refresh on the page). In fact the most recent news item is over 3? months old. Now, admittedly, the version I'm waiting on is the OSX version, but they had been headed into development of the Amiga versions last I heard. Nothing has appeared on the site regarding new Amiga versions being uploaded, and the Amiga versions are in line before the OSX version, so I want the Amiga versions uploaded.
Before you ask, I don't do the PageStream mailing lists because of the way I've been treated on them. I have the choice of either waiting quietly, or waiting with a whole bunch of abuse heaped on. I choose to wait quietly. My concern is for the developer(s) and the product.
By the way, the alt text for the strikethrough icon in the Koivi editor is mispelled. That being said, once it's done, the Koivi editor promises to be a big leap beyond the other forum editors I've seen. Have you thought about providing Gentium as one of the fonts available for it's use, and providing a link to the download site for it? The page is here.

You know, it is possible to read the mailing lists e.g. through the Yahoo groups web interface without being "treated" in any particular way whatsoever. There's even a search box if you are looking for specific information.
I have 5.0.3.3 as OS4final doesn't seem to have helped much. The main thing that stops me using it in preference to the old 68k v4, is the page window doesn't update properly when you scroll.
I very rarely use it anyway, I only bought it to support Pagestream on OS4.
I would like to see a finished working version though.
@Chris Hi Chris, yes after a bit of further testing ( Playing ) I see what you mean about the graphical update. I get the same sort of thing Happening sometimes with Candy Factory as well. Maybe I'll have to reload the 68k version and see how that goes
This Puny World will bow down to Professor Chaos Prepare for the greatest Villan you have ever seen!!
PageStream 5 is the only SW I've purchased so far, as far as AOS4.0 PPC SW goes.
Bought the professional version (was that $150 US?) when the US dollar was close to $1.50 Canadian.
Also, some issues of TAM (5?) and even a few Clubbed (3?) mags.
Having finance difficulties.
Support Amiga Fantasy cases!!! How to program: 1. Start with lots and lots of 0's. 10. Add 1's, liberally. "Details for OS 5 will be made public in the fourth quarter of 2007, ..." - Bill McEwen Whoah!!! He spoke, a bit late.
I am now downloading an alpha version of PageStream5 OSX. Obviously not yet ready for prime time, but this is an excellent sign that they are getting things together.

does it work? how about a screenshot? i'm just curious.
Not yet, though I was able to send a report to Deron, including a couple of screengrabs that held what might be valuable information for him. When I looked inside the app package I was able to double-click on the actual UNIX app, which launched through the terminal, and then gave a consistent reason for suddenly shutting back down.

I was able to put together a mosaic of arial photos of PageStream's new abode, although I caution that I am not at all sure how accurate the star is. All I can say is, ?Got your fishin' pole ready?? Look at all those lakes and ponds!

Maybe that is not strictly connected to the thread but does anyone know anything about the winners of DiscreetFX competition? The winners were supposed to be announced on 1st January 2007.
