OS4.1 and SFS filesystem
Just popping in
Just popping in

See User information
Hello !

I have got my new SamFlex and was doing the install.
It went all well and the Workbench is running but I still have problem with DH1 and DH2.

I was using Media Tooolbox to prepare the disk with 3 partitions and DH0 worked good.
When I try to format the two other partitions I got the message say the disk is full.

When I try to format DH1 and DH2 I use quick format.
I?m using SFS/0 for the whole harddisk.

Please need help to solve it as I want to go on and install all new fun stuff for OS4.1

- The limits mentioned in the 1.245 notes were wrong, sorry. The actual
partition size limit of SFS 1.x is 128 GB, no matter which blocksize
you are using. Changed the checks to the actual limits. You can
continue to use too large partitions, but you may get "disk full"
errors (instead of a trashed partition) even if there is still free
space on the partition.

Welcome to amigans,btw.

You can use jfxs for the other partitions you have. Should work with big partitions. or sfs/2 will also work. And yes,use quick format.

As @ZeroG pointed out (but without mentioning it ) you need to reformat your partitions with SFS/2 (which is capable of sizes beyond 128GB).
