Hi jahc
OK I get your gist, I think! you run Tunenet with the play-list window open Yes/No? if so I can understand your points. But why would you want to run it with the Play-list open? you've loaded your songs/play-lists just close it down ...unless you like to keep an eye on whats coming up ...... Oh well each to their own,
And yes your right the Play-list isn't skinned it just comes up in the reaction style.

Something else for Beans( ever expanding) to do list maybe

@AJS

I'm using the default skin and that does have a playlist (except in mini-mode), so the Reaction part of the GUI would need to know what the skin contains and only hide the parts that are available.

I'd argue that everything that can be done in the Reaction GUI should be available in the default skin and strongly recommended for new skins.

Many Thanks, I've now fixed this in the latest internal version (V0.90). Thanks for the good bug report at OS4 depot.

I can't say when the next version will be released..... just yet...... But I can say the Reaction GUI has been given a make over ..and stability has been much improved / a lot of bugs have been squashed

Cheers,
Bean.

If that was a good bug report, i don't want to see a bad bug report...

Thanks for fixing this.

I dont know if this is a bug report or a feature request but the SkinFX GUI does not respect the "Screen edges resistance" setting in Prefs/GUI for Off-Screen window dragging. It would be nice if TN would do that.

The same is true for the [CTRL] + any [Alt] shortcut for resizing windows from all sides/corners.

Nothing wrong with it at all. You told me the version, provided the crash log and the exact steps to reproduce, what more could I need!

Cheers,
Bean.

skin gui-->play mp3 file
iconify/deiconify->loads up gui
go to Tune tab->can't move forward in song with time slider

reload mp3->time slider is active

This Tunenet version works better than the previous versions.

However, there are still some annoying bugs

1) If you have an internet radio station in your playlist, which is currently not available (or does not exist at all) and if you click on that url in your playlist, Tunenet freezes and also the entire AmigaOS4.1 (tested on Sam440ep).

mplayer reports (instead) on the same url : "No stream found to handle url http:-//radiostation-url/livestream.mp3"

2) Tunenet also freezes the entire system if the url has some superficial parts, like

http://some-url/livestream.mp3&superf ... 746528aa6965d045a792bb778

sometimes, these superfluous tokens exist for webradios. Tunenet plays such streams without problems if you remove these superfluous Tokens.

Feature Request:

Please give us a possiblity to organize the tunes/internet-radio-stations in the playlist. Maybe something like a tree structure:

news-station
-> local news
http:// ...
-> european news
http:// ...

fancy-music
http://...

etc.

Thanks.

Concerning bug: Tunenet crashes on non-existing or temporarly unavailabe URLs

Any chance that this annoying bug will be removed (in the near future?)

Thanks!

Hi,

This has been fixed in the V0.90 release, along with a whole host of other squashed bugs. (It also sports an updated Reaction GUI as well).

However, I can't release it just yet due to a few dependency issues.... If push comes to shove, I'll start back porting the fixes to the V86 release, but hopefully it'll release soonish.

Cheers,
Bean.

I've no idea!

But there are a few things that require general release before I can fully release.

Hi!
Hope that the new TuneNET version will come soon(or maybe we have to wait for the OS4.1 Update???)..
However I noticed that from when I've changed my Audigy1 with a HerculesMuse (CMI8738) TuneNET works REALLY much stable...
MAybe all other guys got crashes have SoundBlaster's sound cards installed?

Just to know...

GOOD WORK!
