Please -- for the benefit of those of us who do not have OS4 --- post screenshots of the new release.

Thanks.

Without tweaking, only trying some settings. I've already changed things now (wb bar.. ecc).

yes, what a shame the company itself did not provide enough screenshots to promote the product. The news also appeared on www.osnews.com however ex- or non-Amiga users have no idea how amazing this new OS looks like. A screenshot link is needed at www.amigaos4.com please.

And please somebody tell the news to Amiga Inc. Their site looks still the same...

For the time being, we had rather finished the OS than the screenshots. We're going to do some, but right now, everybody wants to just give it a rest.

Seriously, if you do want to contact me write me a mail. You're more likely to get a reply then.

Closest that could be done in OS3.x is PNG icons -- and those wouldn't have an alternate state.

These are Mason's Icons -- maybe if you ask nicely, he'll create PNG versions of them.

(Doubt it, though -- since this is part of what makes OS4 "unique" from the earlier AmigaOS versions)

Just posted a pretty much "out of the box" screengrab in the image section.

It should be available soon.

Cheers,
Bean.

Interesting tool

Here's my take (done for support in the AOS4 bugs thread, not to show off AOS4 elegance/customizability).

Wow! What a nice and clean looking custom look you have.

I mostly don't like the custom looks because they're not usable for anything other than looking at. But yours is REALLY nice!

Thank you
I try to keep things as easy and clean as possible, retaining at the same time some sort of basic elegance - if you're interested, the path I followed is kind of summarized by the screenshots here and here.
BTW: I released my theme on OS4Depot a long time ago, so anybody can try it out (uhm... maybe maybe there are some minor differences with the current theme, but they should not really matter...).
