Graphics memory available
Quite a regular
Quite a regular

See User information
Hi all,

I've checked the SDK and I didn't found any informations that may help me from a C program I create, to know the amount of free memory on graphic card.
The function IExec->AvailMem( arg... ) does not have arguments for graphic card (or is not documented for this).

Any clue ?

Thank you
AmiDARK

iit's only for Picasso96 cards. not ?
I use OpenGL so something that handle opengl should be great.

I think that opengl uses P96 to render the data or at least notifies Picasso96 which memory spaces of the board are used to store 3D data. Otherwise p96 could overwrite the 3D data by mistake. So the values returned by p96 should be correct, or?

That is true, but P96 and Warp3D have to share the graphics memory. If Picasso96 gives you a number, then it should be accurate.
